Homes For Our Troops - Jason Hallett
Homes for Our Troops is a national non-profit organization that is strongly committed to building specially adapted homes for over 1,700 Service Members across the US who have returned home with life-altering injuries post 9/11. HFOT Veterans are among the nation's most severely injured, with missing limbs, varying levels of paralysis, and TBI. HFOT assists these Veterans and their families by raising money, and providing building materials, as well as professional labor to coordinate the construction of a home that provides maximum freedom, movement, and ability for these heroes to live more independently. These homes are provided mortgage-free to each Veteran they serve.
Cpl Jason Hallett and his wife Rachel Hallett are honored to have been chosen as one of the families to receive this generous gift of an adapted home that they otherwise may not have been able to have. Their home is in the process of being built, and relies on strong support from the community. The lot was donated by Water Valley Co., and NoCO Custom Homes has stepped up for the build. The Halletts and Homes for Our Troops also counts on the community members to attend events, make donations, and help with fundraisers for the complement of the Hallett Home.
